Here at Hays, I am currently recruiting for an IT Procurement Administrator to join a global IT team for a consultancy based in Leeds. This is a great hybrid opportunity, paying £27,000 per annum, with 1-2 days a week in the Leeds City Centre office. You will be responsible for assisting the IT Procurement Manager with the coordination and processing of all IT purchases within the EMEA region, ensuring all the spend is approved. You will be part of the IT procurement team which is responsible for the provisioning of equipment and software licences. Your key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the procurement of IT products and service solutions for the EMEA region
  • Manage daily procurement tasks/requests proactively via the IT Service Management tool, Cherwell.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to obtain quotations.
  • Creating and managing purchase orders through the approval process.
  • Respond proactively to information demands and questions from Operational teams and other internal parties as needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with other global Procurement team members and share best practices.

Experience/Skills required:

  • At least 2 years' experience within a customer-facing IT procurement role.
  • Use of MS Office 365, such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in software licensing would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
