We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our team within Vistry Devon South West, at our sites in Bridgwater (TA6) and Wellington (TQ21). As our Sales Consultant, you will carry out all aspects of the day-to-day management of the sales function in accordance with our Vistry customer journey; taking ownership of the process through the maintenance of necessary records and documentation.

- Proactively seek out prospective sales and follow up all enquiries with telephone communication and marketing literature to optimise the business opportunity for sales on your designated development(s) within the sites.
- Create and deliver informative and clear sales pitches and tours of the show home and development.
- Negotiate with customers to ensure the best sales outcome for the business.
- Utilise all technology available to ensure innovation in generating sales and in differing economic conditions.
- Effective management of appointments with pre-booked customers ensuring that these are arranged at suitable times and are undertaken effectively.
- Have a detailed knowledge of the build progress on your development through effective communication with the onsite Build Manager and his/her team.
- Have detailed knowledge of all plots available and upcoming within the development.
- Proactively manage and follow the sales process and customer journey as per the Vistry process and procedures utilising the technology provided; Ensure every customer contact is recorded on the relevant CRM system and in line with GDPR.
- Implement the Company’s continuous drive to deliver excellent customer service by advocating the customer journey and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Proactively working as a member of the sales team and demonstrating effective team working skills.
- Deal with all customers in a polite, friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure that customers are kept fully and regularly informed of the progress of their purchase.
- Respond to all cancellations making every effort to ‘save’ and if necessary, renegotiate the reservation.
- Have detailed knowledge of all relevant purchase assistance schemes and alternative developments.
- Ensure competitor analysis is undertaken as determined by Sales Manager.
- Carry out daily tasks required for your development including but not limited to; green space review; presentation; website review.
- Take responsibility for all company property and equipment across each site.
