Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to earn while you learnActuarial work plays a vital role in running a profitable and well-managed insurance business and your contribution will support the success of a FTSE 100 company committed to inclusive capitalism and building a better society. Our actuaries work across the organisation measuring predicting and managing key areas to deliver value for customers. As part of our graduate scheme you will rotate through different business areas to gain a broad understanding and develop into a well-rounded actuary. Your first placement will be in Hove and every 1824 months you will move to new teams and locations expanding your professional network and deepening your actuarial expertise.What you might be working onPerforming actuarial investigations and calculations to support pricing decisions and create bespoke quotations for large schemesManaging the production of experience investigations to understand the impact of changes in mortality morbidity expenses and persistencyDelivering company and statutory financial reporting results to tight deadlines including providing supporting commentaryDeveloping and maintaining actuarial models code and software to ensure decision making is based on robust figuresSummarising the performance of insurance products or investigation results for presentation to senior stakeholdersSupporting actuaries in product development commercial deals and pricing innovationsCollaborating with colleagues across teams to share insights and improve processesContributing to projects that enhance risk analysis and pricing strategiesWe recruit on a rolling basis and this role is likely to fill quickly.
