Were looking for skilled Slabbing Operatives to join our team and help deliver high-quality paving and hard landscaping works. If you have experience in slab laying groundwork preparation and take pride in producing clean accurate finishes wed like to hear from youKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out slabbing and paving works to a high standard ensuring levels lines and falls are accurate.Prepare and level sub-bases to specification ensuring solid and consistent foundations for paving.Handle and lay a range of materials including concrete stone and block paving.Carry out edging cutting and jointing to achieve neat and durable finishes.Operate plant and equipment such as dumpers and rollers safely and efficiently.Read and work from drawings and site levels to deliver work in line with project requirements.Maintain a tidy and safe working area following all site safety and service avoidance procedures.Work closely with site management and fellow operatives to meet programme deadlines.Essential RequirementsValid CSCS card.Proven experience in slabbing paving or finishing works.Confident in setting levels and working to tight tolerances.Skilled in operating dumpers and rollers.Reliable proactive and able to deliver quality work with minimal supervision.DesirableAdditional CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g. Telehandler Dumper Roller).5 years experience in groundwork or hard landscaping.Experience working as part of a small team or gang on large sites.General ExpectationsPunctual dependable and committed to producing excellent workmanship.Works collaboratively with other trades and site teams.Supports safe working practices and contributes to a productive site environment.Must hold Right to Work in the UK.Join a trusted professional team delivering excellence across ground clearance groundwork and plant operations.* Please note that to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
