Groundworks Supervisor

Venture Contracts Ltd are looking for a Black hat / Groundworks supervisor for a site in Luton. The project is a large civils project, works will include renovating a car park, widening roads, fitting gullies and drainage. finishing kurbs and edging.

The Supervisor will need to have proven experience in these kind of areas. Rates are negotiable based on experience.

The project will last for about 45 weeks maybe longer. and will start at the end of November.

- Perform various tasks related to ground maintenance and construction projects
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and power tools
- Assist with landscaping duties including planting, watering, and pruning
- Install and repair irrigation systems
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, and hauling materials
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Previous experience in groundworks preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

- Supervising: Ability to oversee and direct the work of other groundworkers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to specifications.

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
