This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints.Responsibilities:- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal for bespoke components- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job- Position and secure workpieces on the machine bed using clamps or other holding devices- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends- Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance- Collaborate with team members to meet production goalsRequirements:- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter or similar role- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operations- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job orders- Familiarity with different types of tooling used in press brake operations- Ability to fabricate sheet metal components based on specifications- Basic math skills for measurements and calculationsWe offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
