Press Brake Setter

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for **Press Brake Setters, **working for a client located in **Peterlee. **Responsible for ensuring products of the highest standards are manufactured on time and to cost while ensuring that all H&S and quality requirements are adhered to whilst fulfilling customer demand.

**Press Brake Setter Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Professionally represent the company and its activities to external customers, suppliers, regulators and third parties.
- Follow and comply with all relevant policy and quality system procedures and practice.
- Contribute to the implementation of continual improvement processes within the company and undertake to satisfy internal and external customers.
- Work effectively with colleagues to participate and contribute to the successful completion of both personal, team and business quality objectives.
- Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures with due consideration to health, safety, and environmental risk.
- Active participation in Kaizen Teams and continuous improvement processes.

**Press Brake Setter Applicants**:

- An ability to forward think and problem solve.
- Ability to set and operate the DET and press brake section of the production line, including processes and procedures.
- Self-motivated and work towards achieving set KPI’s.
- Able to work well within a team and as an individual.
- Ability to learn and follow quality expectations/standards.

**Experience**:

- Must have previous Press Brake experience.
- Be an experienced Fabrictator with Press experience (role involves both).
- Ideally have bespoke product focus (setting brand new parts regularly).
- Ideally have drawing experience (drawing bespoke parts regularly).

**Working 38 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7am until 4pm and 7am until 11am Friday’s.**

Pay: £12.00-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
