Senior Civil Engineer This opportunity sits with a leading international renewable energy company that delivers large scale solar and battery projects across the UK, Europe, Africa and further afield. Sponsorship is available and the company operates a hybrid model with two days a week in the London office. Salary is £60000 to £75000 DOE. Key Responsibilities • Lead civil and structural design for utility scale solar and storage projects across multiple regions• Produce and review layouts, foundations, access roads, drainage and earthworks• Review geotechnical, hydrological and topographical reports• Optimise site design to reduce cost and improve constructability• Ensure full compliance with all relevant engineering standards and requirements• Review contractor drawings, design proposals and method statements• Carry out site inspections and resolve civil engineering issues during construction• Work closely with electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate full project design• Support project managers with schedules, cost planning and risk management Requirements • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering• Chartered or working towards chartership• Five to seven years experience in civil design for infrastructure or solar projects• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D and drainage modelling software• Good understanding of UK and international standards for earthworks, drainage and stormwater management• Experience working on international projects or across multiple regions• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multi disciplinary team• Willingness to travel for site visits Package • Salary £60000 to £75000 DOE• Sponsorship available• Hybrid working with two days a week in the London office• Global project exposure with a market leading renewable energy company• Clear progression routes and long term career developmentTPBN1_UKTJ
