We are proud to be partnering with a County Council who are looking to appoint an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join the team on a locum basis, for 3-months initially.


This will be a full-time position offering fully remote working, and a rate in the region of £55p/hour UMB, subject to PQE.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling a mixed caseload of Adult Social Care law, including advising on safeguarding, Court of Protection and mental capacity
  • Advising Officers in regards to the Council’s duties under the Care Act
  • Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
  • Representing the Council in remote Court hearings, conducting all own advocacy
  • Supporting an NQ Solicitor within the team in regards to any queries on complex cases and matters


Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
