The Role

After familiarizing yourself with our environment and our tools, you will be in charge of deploying our dedicated solution for Public Works sites in United Kingdom : underground or engineering structures.

Under the supervision of our Operations Manager, you will oversee:

  • Undertaking and overseeing the installation and maintenance of new and existing projects within the UK, ensuring all consumables are in place and adhering to our Health, Safety, and Quality standards.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with coordinating installations carried out by third parties.
  • Maintaining all environmental, structural and geotechnical monitoring systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with company standards, along with completing necessary site documentation.
  • Managing small projects or sections of larger ones, ensuring they meet agreed budgets, quality, and objectives.
  • Proactively communicating any changes in project scope to ensure they are managed and controlled effectively.
  • Preparing site documentation in line with company and client requirements.
  • Professionally communicating with clients at the site level and providing technical support and training.
  • Updating project folders with relevant information and attending site visits for new installations to gather necessary details.
  • Assisting the Technical Team with research and trials of new sensors and suggesting platform enhancements.

Profile

  • You have a Construction, methods or equipment on major projects: tunnels, engineering structures,... experience and a knack for digital products and services.
  • Strong ability to liaise with internal project teams and communicate client deliverables as a priority.
  • An understanding of environmental, structural and geotechnical monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of installing and maintaining monitoring systems.
  • A deep understanding of UBY's role and purpose in the industry and the services we provide.
  • Flexibility to take on any other duties reasonably requested.
