Simulation and Modelling Engineer - Motorsport & EV - Northamptonshire - £40k to £60k


Role: Simulation & Modelling Engineer

Salary: £40k to £60k

Location - Northamptonshire


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and validate advanced simulation models for product design, testing, and optimization.
  • Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of simulation results to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and testing teams to integrate simulation activities into the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously enhance simulation methodologies and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay current with advancements in simulation technology and apply them to ongoing and future projects.
  • Document simulation processes, methodologies, and findings for use in future projects and for knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to other engineering teams as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in simulation and modelling with MATLAB & Simulink.
  • Strong knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), or other relevant simulation techniques.
  • A working knowledge of Control Theory.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
