A prestigious law firm is currently seeking a driven Restructuring Associate to join their esteemed team in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex restructuring matters, including corporate reorganisations, distressed debt transactions, and insolvency proceedings. With a focus on providing strategic advice and practical solutions, the Restructuring Associate will work closely with partners and clients to navigate challenging situations and achieve optimal outcomes.




Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on restructuring and insolvency matters, including corporate reorganisations, distressed debt transactions, and formal insolvency proceedings.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support clients in understanding and addressing restructuring issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including restructuring plans, transactional documents, and court submissions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas, including corporate, finance, and litigation, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with creditors, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist with due diligence processes and transactional support in restructuring and insolvency matters.
  • Keep abreast of developments in restructuring and insolvency law and provide insights to clients on potential implications for their businesses.




Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience in restructuring and insolvency law.
  • Strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK restructuring and insolvency law principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience advising clients on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercial advice.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
