Senior Systems EngineerLocation: Peterborough, mainly on-site but potential for some hybrid work. Salary: Up to £60,000 plus package. Copello are working with a leading air traffic management and communication specialist, who are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team working on complex projects. The roleAs a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll lead the development and integration of advanced systems, making sure they meet high standards for performance and quality. Your work will cover the entire process—from understanding what is needed and designing the system, to testing, deployment, and supporting the system’s operation. You will help solve technical problems and contribute to future technology developments.Main responsibilities:Review and develop system designs and requirementsOversee the testing and verification of systemsCollaborate with different teams to ensure systems work well togetherSupport risk management and ensure compliance with standardsProvide technical advice to project teams and stakeholdersEssential skills and experience:Degree in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience working with communication systems, networks, and RF technologyStrong understanding of system design, testing, and verification processesKnowledge of VHF/UHF communications, navigation, and surveillance systemsAbility to interpret requirements and turn them into practical design solutions
