Reporting to the head of function, the Buyer - Indirects & Packaging will develop and implement procurement strategies across the assigned spend categories. Under the banner of indirects falls; capex, chemicals, consumables, FM, logistics & transport, PPE, utilities and of course packaging. You would not need experience across all of these spend areas.Specific duties of the Buyer - Indirects & Packaging includes:Supply market intelligence and market analysis across packaging and indirectsIdentify new sources of supply, negotiate and agree LTAsManagement of existing supplier base - driving improved performance and collaborationSupply Chain Risk Mitigation activitiesStakeholder partneringBudgeting, Forecasting and Reporting activitiesContribute to wider organisation goals around sustainability and ESG.
