You'll collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to deliver high-impact features that directly improve user financial wellbeing.This is a hands-on role for an engineer who values clean architecture, measurable outcomes, and meaningful user impact.What You’ll Do:Design and implement distributed systems that are resilient, scalable, and secure.Own technical decision-making across architecture and implementation — selecting the right tools and patterns to meet evolving business needs.Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and analysts to build features that deliver tangible value.Contribute to technical strategy, support platform scalability, and lead by example through code reviews and mentoring.Maintain a user-centred mindset, constantly measuring and iterating on how engineering decisions translate into product value.Technical Environment:Languages & Frameworks: Python, TypeScript, React, SvelteInfrastructure & Tools: AWS, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelinesWays of Working: Agile squads, continuous delivery, outcome-oriented cultureYou’ll work in a collaborative, engineering-led environment where autonomy, accountability, and thoughtful innovation are valued over process-heavy delivery.What You BringProven experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems in high-growth or high-load environments.Strong technical depth in backend development, with working knowledge of frontend frameworks or data infrastructure a plus.Demonstrated ability to lead by example — writing clean, maintainable code and supporting others through mentoring or technical leadership.A pragmatic, product-oriented approach to engineering: you care about elegant solutions, but you care even more about user outcomes.Prior experience in fintech or regulated environments is beneficial, but not essential.If you are an innovative and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for using maths based solutions to solve complex business problems, then please apply now with your latest CV.
