The role is to be the technical matter expert with regards to the PLC controls and systems on-site across a range of automated equipment. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to step into a leading role that will encompass leading a small small team of Engineers. It would suit someone who has a background in controls, specifically with PLC’s, and worked in a similar environment; manufacturing, production, industrial or automated – all considered. Responsibilities · Be the technical matter expert in control systems on-site; Primarily Siemens PLC’s · Provide support proactively and reactively to equipment failures. · Actively support all technical projects on new machinery and upgrades. · Modify and minor programming of PLC’s, via Ladder Logic. · Provide leadership to a small team of Engineers, being on-hand and give guidance in their on-going training and development with controls and PLC’s. ...
