We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interim Events Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis.This is a senior hands-on role offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of our diverse portfolio of educational events including thought leadership initiatives planned for 2026. Youll be instrumental in driving strategic alignment and commercialisation across our projects ensuring every event reflects our commitment to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end planning and delivery of Educate by Medicas live and virtual radiology eventsManage all logistical aspects from concept development to post-event evaluationEnsure events meet high professional standards and align with brand and organisational goalsDevelop and manage project timelines budgets and operational plansCollaborate with internal teams clinical speakers and external partnersBuild strong relationships with sponsors venues suppliers and delegatesCoordinate speaker and delegate communications and materialsSupport the development of new event formats and commercial initiativesContribute to strategic planning for future events including roundtables and thought leadershipWork closely with marketing commercial and clinical teams to ensure event alignmentChampion continuous improvement in event delivery and delegate experienceMonitor performance metrics and provide insights for optimisationEnsure compliance with health and safety data protection and regulatory standardsMaintain accurate documentation including budgets contracts and feedback reportsJob requirementsAbout YouWere looking for someone who is:Experienced in managing B2B and educational events (other industries will be considered if skills and experience are transferable)Highly organised with strong project management skillsA confident communicator comfortable engaging with senior stakeholdersSkilled in hosting both virtual and in-person eventsProficient in budget management and preparing event documentationDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and professionalismTech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management toolsDesirable:Experience with CPD-accredited or healthcare education eventsFamiliarity with platforms like ZoomBackground in commercial or international education settingsWho We AreMedica is the UKs largest telemedicine provider supporting over 50% of NHS trusts and delivering specialist reporting globally.
