Job Overview A Regional Product Manager is responsible for the growth of a collection of products throughout their lifecycle across multiple international markets. This strategic role combines market analysis, VOC, product development, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive product success on a global scale. This role is based in EMEA but supports all markets. They will support VAP (Value Added Products – Swindon and Backshells – Hastings). This person will be a key member of the team, with aspirations for the future of being a product leader. Product Manager must ensure that their product lines meet or exceed all key performance indicators established during the annual strategic and operating planning processes. They will work across functions to manage all aspects of the product life cycle from strategic planning to day‑to‑day tactical activities. Your Main Tasks Develop and execute comprehensive global product strategies aligned with business objectives Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking Work with Engineering and operations to meet customer expectations and ensure demand is catered for the current backlog Define product roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategies Cross‑functionally collaborate to achieve sales, technology, and operations strategies and goals, in line with financial goals Implement pricing policy as defined by lead PM(s) Assist in the development of the annual operating plan (Sales and gross or standard margin) Create RTS requests for new product development projects Perform pricing analysis in preparation of catalogue price changes or in response to special pricing requests Perform product cost and gross margin analysis Respond to requests for proposals Analyse excess and obsolete inventory Champion the resolution of product issues (e.g., delivery, quality, inventory) Work with Product Pricing team to ensure desired margins are achieved Issue product change notices and material change orders Meet AOP targets on the following KPIs: Sales Standard Margin in $ and in % Delivery (STR) Cost reduction targets Your Ideal Background BE/B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical or any) Excellent communication skills Strong analytical skills with experience handling backlog Understanding of global supply chain and manufacturing processes Familiarity with regulatory requirements 8+ years’ experience in Product Management Functional / Technical skills relevant to the role Relevant product or industry experience desired Strong knowledge of SAP MM Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Competencies Strong financial acumen – to analyze and make product pricing decisions Ability to work with CFT (Cross Business Units) Initiative and decision‑making capability Robust analytical skills and ability to visualize and articulate the financial impact Keen attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and spoken English skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to determine priorities and take decisions Building people capability: training and mentoring with necessary skill set About TE Connectivity TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
