Do you have archives experience paired with an interest in scienceAre you methodical with excellent attention to detailDo you want to work for a large global organization with a mission to improve health and improve livesIf so this role could be for youAt Labcorp we are working together to build a healthier and safer world we exist to help our customers secure the potential of their research and develop products that enhance and enrich life.Our site in Alconbury Huntingdon is currently recruiting an Assistant Archive Coordinator III to join our Archives and Sample Management department.In this role you will perform a variety of Archive responsibilities in compliance with appropriate Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various Business Unit Operations. Ensure that services to both internal and external customers are provided in a timely manner or as agreed in Service Level Agreements.Please note this is an on-site office-based role.Duties Include:Contacts clients routinely to determine dispositionCommunicates client disposition authorization with appropriate staffPerforms any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks including labeling receipt transferring tracking inventory archival shipping and disposal of samples and/or materials.Sample accession core tasks including box opening inventory/labeling receipt/store and pulls/returnsUses tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrityAccurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e. Sample Analysis Outline client paperwork)Document and communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and leads problem solving. Submits audit responses to QAU inspections as neededMaintain client and business confidentialityPlans prioritize individual and team workloads and responsibilitiesContributes to a cohesive team environmentCommunicates effectively with internal and external customersLead or participates process improvement initiativesEnsures adherence to company Global/Regional/Local SOPs as appropriateComplies with relevant Environmental Health and Safety at work regulations and Company PoliciesCompetent with environmental system monitor as appropriate.Maintains storage unitsEnsures company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrityPerforms training and development relevant to gradeAbout You:The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and be I.T proficient. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills time management and organizational skills in an environment that requires you to be flexible and meet specific timelines.
