We are expanding the age range of Oakfield School and as a result we are recruiting teaching staff. Our Secondary Inclusion Partnership staff who currently put provision in place for secondary aged children and young people who have been excluded from school or who are at risk of this have joined the team. You will be part of a vital team in an exciting period of development working with us to meet the needs of children and young people between the ages of 11 and 16 who struggle to manage in mainstream and need a different offer of education to secure their successful next steps.Role Overview:This role is to teach Art to KS3/KS4 students. Students have a variety of learning needs and learn in small groups. We are looking for a person to teach in a creative flexible holistic and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and drastically improve the outlook of students educational journey. you will be at the heart of our mission teaching a small group of learners and delivering a creative curriculum that captivates and inspires. The role would suit a teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can inspire others.
