Loughborough, United Kingdom Watermead Day Nursery and Pre-School Full time

Are you an NVQ Level 2/3 qualified educator? If so, WE NEED YOU

Loughborough’s best Reggio Emilia inspired Children’s Day Nursery and Pre-School is always looking for enthusiastic, qualified staff to work in the Baby, Toddler and Preschool sections of our Nursery.

Situated across two settings, in unique surroundings, we are proud to provide the best childcare in the area. Children are stimulated through our resident art teacher, enthused by our visiting chef, motivated by our resident sports coach, inspired by our forest school and enthused by our staff. Do you think you could be part of the team, constantly striving to create an environment where enquiring minds can develop?

There are always exciting opportunities to work within our successful 100 place setting, where the managers believe strongly in rewarding staff and helping them to develop. Each role presents diverse duties including: communicating with parents, learning about and working according to our philosophies and ethos, holding key children responsibilities, working with our pets, assisting our Forest School outings, and working with our artist and children in our art and music studios.

The most exciting part of our company is that we try to ‘home grow’ our staff, providing the opportunities to develop their careers and meet their full potential. There is no limit to what you can achieve with Watermead. You want to be a manager, a room leader, a forest school leader, a sports practitioner? We are keen to help the right staff achieve their desires and reach their goals.

As with the children in our care, we are also growing, with more settings opening soon, and this will create more opportunities for those that want to develop their skills and careers. We believe strongly in supporting and developing staff and welcome those with a passion to make their mark through bringing new ideas.

Other benefits to working at Watermead include:

- Caring, supportive environment and culture
- Regular time out of ratio to document and assess children's learning
- Generous holiday entitlement
- Long service rewards
- Unrivalled professional development - external, inhouse, online and distance learning training opportunities tailored to individual needs
- Working alongside professional artists and expert consultants
- Team building fun days, meals out, and social events
- Career progression for the ambitious and hardworking

If you are truly passionate about children and want to be part of our dynamic team that is looking for its future Managers and Leaders, then please get in touch

But remember you must have:
1. Great passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS 0-5 years

2. Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a team

3. A sense of humour, common sense and a ‘can do’ attitude

4. Masses of drive, ambition and energy

5. A determined, persistent and resilient personality, who approaches and overcomes challenges with a positive attitude.

6. Desire to learn.

If you have the same drive and ambition that we have, then we really want to talk to you. We are extremely proud of our staff, and if you can bring the same enthusiasm and passion that they already exhibit then you will be welcomed in to the team with open arms.
