The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the schools dynamic team on a fulltime basis. This is a permanent HLTA position starting in September 2024. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

HLTA Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting class teachers in the delivery of highquality lessons.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.

About You:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
