We are working with a respected, low-turnover supported living organisation seeking a House Leader to join their team in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to progress within a supportive, values-driven environment. Youll be leading a small 4bed service supporting adults with mental health needs, psychiatric backgrounds, and behaviours that may challenge. About the Role As House Leader, you will: Lead by example, supporting and supervising support staff to maintain high standardsOversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the homeUse a person-centred approach to promote independence, personal growth and meaningful decision-making for residentsLiaise with external professionals, local authority contacts and social care coordinatorsEnsure all processes, policies and safeguarding standards are followedOrganise tasks within the home, including daily operations, maintenance arrangements and resident supportComplete care plans, risk assessments, digital records and incident reporting to required standardsProvide thorough handovers and ensure consistent communication across the teamInvestigate and respond to significant events with professionalism and attention to detailSupport the onboarding of new residents and staffWork closely with the management team on audits, updates and service improvementsParticipate in training, team meetings and ongoing development initiativesSkills & Experience Needed Experience in care or supported living settingsPrevious supervisory or team-leading experienceStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesIT literacy, including use of digital care systemsExcellent communication skills with residents, colleagues and external professionalsCompassion, patience and the ability to support individuals with complex mental health needsA logical, consistent and process-driven work approachA commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and best practiceWhats on Offer A stable working environment with low staff turnoverGenuine career progression as the organisation continues to growSupportive management and ongoing training opportunitiesA role where your leadership directly contributes to resident wellbeing and service qualityIf youre motivated, organised and passionate about delivering high-quality support, wed love to hear from you.
