Job DescriptionProject ManagerDerby or Bristol (Hybrid - min 3 days on site)Full Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Project Managers to join the Team in Derby or Bristol. This is a Delivery Role reporting to the VP M&A and Programme Delivery.This role is the Project based role operating across the entire domain portfolio for delivery. You will be working across D&IT and will be required to effectively engage with the other delivery teams as required. As a Project Manager you will be required to work with Eco system Partners and drive effective engagement to deliver quality outcomes on time and to cost whilst measuring and reporting project progress risk and issues in line with the cadence defined by PMO (Portfolio Management Office)What you will be doing:As a Project Manager you will be accountable for the creation and agreement of the delivery plan for Enterprise projects in addition to:The quality assurance and sign off of any and all 3rd party Statements of WorkThe establishment of the delivery framework for delivery; scheme PO PMO Gate review etc.The time cost and quality deliverables for projectsManaging commitments and escalations both internally and with external providersEnsure risk and issue processes are upheld and are actionedProviding the necessary level of reporting and financial management as required by PPMOEnsures that project and quality plans are prepared and provides regular reports to stakeholders steering reviews / governanceProviding portfolio level oversight for finance and supplier performanceAssuring that the plan focusses on the priorities of the business and is aligned with D&IT strategyDelivering the more strategic large-scale Programs where requiredDeveloping and improving the systems and processes for Enterprise Systems deliveryWhy join Rolls-RoyceWork with us and well welcome you into a culture of caring and belonging where you can be yourself. Discover more on our GBS Service Portal about hybrid working.Preferred requirements:Extensive project delivery experience in a complex fast paced environmentYou will be able to demonstrate deep understanding of the tools and techniques for effective program resource and risk managementStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influenceYou will be commercially astute and able to effectively craft agree and deliver against contractYou will have an analytical mind and will be able to manage complex scenarios whist being able to communicate effectively at the right level across the organisationYou will be delivery focussed confident and able to make and stand by decisionsHave experience of working in a project and program delivery focused environmentBe an excellent communicator at all levels of the business.
