You will also be required to manage a group of staff within the team on a day to day basis.Whats the roleThe role will include providing advice and assistance with legal documentation andnegotiation with partners or preferred bidders including in relation to jointcommissioning initiatives with the Health Authority or other local authorities. You will be required to support the Principal Lawyer in advising and drafting contracts and protocolson a wide range of public private partnership arrangements. You will need to be able to manage and co-ordinate the work of staff and provide advice guidance and direction as necessary. You will undertake a personal caseload of the more complex contract advice the preparation of complex and unique forms of contract and advise on any matters of contract and procurement law.LocationThe job is primarily based in Laurence House but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.Special conditionsYou must be a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX in Wales and England with at least 5 years PQE (or equivalent) in contracts and procurement law and hold a Practising Certificate on commencement of the role.The recruitment process is anonymous and we dont accept CVs.Applicant handbook- please read the guidance in this handbook when applying.
