You will be managing planned and reactive maintenance projects on residential and commercial properties with your high-end luxury clients who are predominantly based in London. The types of projects vary from small maintenance jobs to huge refurbs of the properties.This role is an incredible opportunity for you to manage construction projects and contribute to the growth of the businessRoles and Responsibilities for a Construction Manager: * Manage onsite sub-contractors and monitor their performance. * Drive the business forward by winning new business and delivering on the high levels of service. * Order specialist materials * Check the job regularly to ensure it is running smoothly and on time. * Provision of method statements and agreeing material lists with foreman. * Manage progress reports for all non-reactive jobs. * Deal with any on issues with the client or workforce and report to the Operations Director and Managing Director when necessary. * Oversight of growth and development of plumbing and heating division. * Other ad hoc duties may be necessary to successfully complete your responsibilities.Key Skills for a Construction Manager: * Experience as an Estimator/ Project Manager in a Construction/Carpentry or Mechanical and Engineering industry. * Be able to grasp technicalities with ease. * Can price several projects simultaneously. * Proactive and self-motivated * Exceptional organisational skills * Ability to take responsibility for projects and sub-contractorsQualifications for a Construction Manager: * IOSH * SMSTS * CSCSIf you are looking for the opportunity to be part of the growth and development of a successful business, apply now
