As the Group Finance Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for this group function. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to contribute to the growth and success of this business.
Key responsibilities for the Group Financial Reporting Analyst role:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Responsibility for group consolidation for over 10 legal entities
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and board members.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Implement and maintain financial reporting systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and experience required for this Group Financial Reporting Analyst role:
- Either ACA or ACCA qualified
- Must have worked and qualified within a practice environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software/systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
