Healthcare assistant- femaleWe are looking for caring female Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home located in Cleckheaton Kirkleed west Yorkshire.This 86-bedded Nursing and Residential Care Home specialises in the care of residents with dementiaAlzeihmers elderly..We are unable to accept student visas or skilled workers.We do not provide sponsorshipWe do recruit care assistants with experience living in the area or able to relocate within 2 weeks.Job Types: Permanent Full-time hours: 36- 42 per weekSalary: starting at 12.21 per hourResponsibilities include:Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily livingAssist Residents in all aspects of their care needs e.g. physical emotional and spiritualProvide supervision and attention when needed ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignityObserve care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructedAssist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care CentreAnswer Nurse Call system giving assistance as requiredAnswer the door and telephone appropriatelyRespond accordingly and pass on messages promptlyReport on well-being of ResidentsClean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs hearing aids spectacles etcRequirements for the roleAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsTeam playerAbility to work on own initiativePrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User groupWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for career growth and development.Requirements for the role:Ability to communicate effectively to all levelsLive in the area and able to commuteRight to work in the UK Team playerAbility to work on own initiativePrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User group for at least 6 monthsBenefits: Permanent contract Day Night shifts available 28 days annual leave (inclusive of statuary bank holidays) Enhanced training Diploma Offered from day 1 of your start date.
