You’ll benefit from significant investment in technology and a desire to create best in class data products.The business is increasingly understanding the power of data as an asset, but there is still a long way to go. The Data Product Owner will be the bridge between the business and highly skilled tech teams in creating various specialised Products that will help take the business to new levels.The role is largely remotely based, but you’ll need to be able to attend the office in Milton Keynes at least twice a month, but potentially more at peak periods.The Data Product Owner will be responsible for the following:Own the product vision and roadmap for specific data productsWork closely with stakeholders to define the product deliverablesMaintain and prioritise the product backlogDefine acceptance criteriaSupport design of data structures and dashboardsEnsure the product meets governance standardsBe the first point of contact for all product decisionsWork closely with both technical and business audiences, communicating clearly and effectively in relevant terminologyAct as an advocate for the importance of data and the power it can deliver as a business assetMonitor product adoptionThe successful Data Product Owner will have the following experience:Experience of managing data products beyond initial launch and transformation – you will have managed the in a BAU environment and acted as a true custodian for their successExceptional business facing skills – ability to convey the power of data to non-technical audiencesExperience of Agile or iterative delivery methodsAny experience of insurance, financial services or other regulated industries would be preferred but not essentialAny knowledge of tools including PowerBI, Tableau or Snowflake would be idealThe salary on offer is up to £77,000 + performance related bonus, excellent pension and a variety of other benefits.For further information, please apply online and I will contact you to discuss the role in more depth.Data Product Owner – Financial Services, Agile
