Right now, we are looking for a Specialist Intervention Worker to play a pivotal role in our DA Intervention Service in London.Please note this role requires travel across London Boroughs of Croydon, Ealing, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Richmond and Wandsworth. Sounds great, what will I be doing?You will support women with multiple and complex needs across Hestia's pan-London refuges, ensuring they have access to therapeutic support that facilitates their recovery. You will provide immediate crisis intervention and create a safe, welcoming environment for women fleeing domestic abuse. You will ensure access to emergency supplies such as clothing and toiletries, apply for relevant grants, and help women maximise their income.You will work closely with refuge staff, offering additional support and upskilling teams to manage challenging behaviours with resilience and confidence.
