You will be working in a team that plays an essential role in supporting Haverings People Services department ensuring payments for all Social Care and Public Health services are made in a timely manner to providers to ensure the most vulnerable continue to be looked after.If successful in your application for the role ofFinancial Business Intelligence OfficerLondon Borough of Havering you will:Ensuring accurate and timely payments are made to providers of Public Health services in accordance with the contracts.Build strong relationships with the commissioners and external providers of the services to ensure payments and invoicing of services is accurate timely and in accordance with the terms of the contracts.Accurately record and monitor cost and spend and provide relevant information to support the service to manage their contracts and budgets.Be passionateabout customer service with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach so that queries and issues can be resolved to a satisfactory outcome.Have great attention to detail and be able to utilise your numerical and problem solving skills to analyse data in response to payment discrepancies and resolve complex finance queries.Be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as Excel and Outlook to analyse information and be comfortable with using other financial and third party systems to extract data and process payments.As one of the greenest boroughs in London resourcefulness is in our nature.
