Work closely with the team at WCUK and external parties for project planning, execution, monitoring and closing of the project. Reporting directly to the Project Manager.
Duties/Tasks :
- Preparing of production schedules in-line with client’s requirements.
- Ensuring that the approved procedures are implemented, distributed and maintained by all parties.
Ensuring proper communication for receiving and discharging pipes with all applicable parties (i.e. logistic, port, stevedore, surveyor, tally, quality).
- Monitoring production & logistic activity against project scheduling, and quality requirements.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage any changes within the project scope and identify any potential crises and devise suitable contingency plans.
- Build, develop and grow business relationships
- Conduct project post mortems and create suitable report identifying both successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Direct and manage project development from start to finish ensuring best practices and tools for project execution are used.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve any issues / conflict within the project team.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using the appropriate tools.
- Appropriately track and monitor project milestone and deliverables.
HSE Elements :
- Understanding the fundamentals of the HSE Management System and applying that information on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail including when writing.
- Knowledge in project coordination, project management, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office etc.
- Performs field inspections, Project Planning, Prepares and interprets engineering plans and specifications and communicating technical requirements to contractors, Thinking Skills, Project Time Management, Manufacturing Qualities and Report Writing.
- Prepare and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
