DescriptionWere looking for an organised and motivated Risk and Assurance Officer to support the effective management of risk and business continuity across our organisation. Working closely with colleagues and senior managers youll help coordinate risk reporting maintain key assurance records and support the delivery of training and reporting. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do and our colleagues are the people wholl help us achieve our vision which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives.Duties include: Co-ordinate internal strategic and operational risk processes working with risk owners to ensure risk reporting is timely including delivery of operational risk training to departmental teams.Assist the Governance and Risk Manager and the Head of Regulation and Assurance to deliver risk & assurance reporting to Audit & Risk Committee and the BoardAssist horizon scanning activities particularly at the operational risk level and for Business Continuity Plans and implementing best practice in risk management.Co-ordinate the business continuity process and work with colleagues to ensure business continuity is fit for purpose and routinely reviewed and tested. Ensure all fraud incidents are recorded in the Fraud Register and escalate any financial losses to the Governance and Risk Manager and the Head of Regulation and Assurance for potential investigation.Work closely with the wider assurance team providing cover / additional support according to business needs.About youCan bring risk and assurance to life for others.Confident working with senior leaders across a range of disciplines.Self motivated and can work independently. Strong written and communication skills.
