Sales Executive/Account Management

My client is a well-established and leading organisation based in Newtownabbey, due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm (flexible working 39 hours, core hours 9.30am-3pm)

With a salary of £30,000 per annum.

Job Role:

You will be responsible for the management of key sales accounts for the business across the UK, Europe and beyond. This will also include assisting with monthly forecast planning, order processing, invoicing and completion of export paperwork. Upselling to current customers and dealing with new enquiries to covert to sales will also apply to this role.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 year’s experience in a customer account management role.
  • Degree in a business-related subject.
  • Demonstrable experience of exporting goods outside of Europe.
  • IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Other languages spoken/written.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account management of a portfolio of export customers, in the UK, EU and rest of the world, providing good customer service at all times.
  • Recording information accurately to ensure MRP systems are updated, and orders are processed through production to ensure customers receive goods and delivery as planned.
  • Gathering market and customer information to understand customer requirements.
  • Using the full mix of traditional & digital marketing for the company’s communications.
