Community Chemotherapy Nurse

We are looking for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to work for the UK's leading provider of specialist private homecare. Working in the Essex catchment area, you will be delivering care to patients in the comfort of their own home. This role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV/Oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more. Although you will be working independently in the community, you will remain very much part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues. You will remain at the cutting edge of your profession, gaining exposure to new technologies and therapies, and helping to develop care models that break the mould. Key criteria for a Chemotherapy Nurse include:RGN with active NMC PINFull UK driving licenceExperience of community based work is desirable but not essentialExperience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation and clinical assessmentsSACT Passport desirable but not essentialThere is an excellent selection of benefits on offer for any successful Chemotherapy Nurse as per belowSalary up to £43,000 per annum Fully expensed company car and fuel card or car allowance of £4,877.50 per annum plus mileageNMC fee reimbursementContributory pension schemeDeath in service (4 x salary)Annual holiday – 33 days inclusive of bank holidays with option to buy 5 moreMobile phone and tablet deviceWeekend and evening enhancements – 30% / 60%Support with revalidationIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to excel as a specialist Chemotherapy Nurse in Essex, please click “APPLY” or contact Sam on (phone number removed) for further information.
