As an Assistant Administration Manager in the Social Care and Family Support team youll find opportunities to develop your skills make a meaningful impact and shape the future of Suffolk.Reimagine the possibilities.Your role and responsibilitiesAs part of a team providing administrative and financial support to our Social Care and Family Support Practitioners across the North and East Ipswich and Coastal locality you will have a varied workload.You will besupervising a small team of Administrators in our Ipswich office as well ascontributing to the overall management of the wider team in our Felixstowe and Leiston offices too. This will include recruitment training regular staff supervisions and performance reviews.You will use your excellent communication skills to provide advice and guidance to staff on a range of administrative procedures monitoring workloads and ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. Being based in the Ipswich office you will also be our go to person in relation to office and premises related queries.You will needa good working knowledge of budget administration following financial policies and proceduresexperience of managing/supervising staff in an office environmentexcellent IT skills including a working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice packagesexcellent organisational skills working on your own initiative as well as effectively as part of a team.You can view a full list of requirements in theJob and Person Profile (Word).If you believe you can succeed in this role apply.
