Repair Vendor Inspector

Job Description SummaryAs an Aftermarket Vendor Inspector you will receipt in inspect and release Customer and GE owned assets in line with the site quality management systems (QMS) & Civil Aviation regulatory requirements. Additionally you will provide data entry task management and system administrative support to the aftermarket business technicians management and materials personnel. You must be able to confidently communicate within your own team and cross-functionally with our teams in Commercial Operations and Materials. Operationally focused standard work will be applied to ensure common business goals. This is all underpinned by safety 1st mentality whilst adhering to the strict quality and compliance requirements.Job DescriptionJob Description Inspect and the generate C of C and DAIN release certification on behalf of GE Aviation Systems Ltd (GE Aerospace).Comply with Variable contract date (VCD) dates to ensure aftermarket maximises OTD utilising business systems and standard work.Receipt vendor repaired product back into the business system and highlight any issues to wider teams.Perform incoming inspection of the vendor repaired productreview all technical documentation to our business requirements.Generate release documentation driven by our business system.Physically scrap product when authorised to do so in line with our QMS.Entry of data relating to aerospace component part numbers serial numbers and modifications to uphold the airworthiness integrity of Line Replaceable Units (LRU) owned by customers and GE AerospaceFoster a culture of Continuous Improvement within your Team and employ the appropriate methodologyAble to create Non-Conformances (NCs) for non-conforming product.Flexible WorkingGE Aerospace supports and encourages flexible working arrangements where possible and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance.Total RewardAt GE Aerospace we understand the importance of Total Reward.
