On behalf of our client, Royal London. We are looking for a Fund Operations Administrator within Dealing Services for a 6 Month Day Rate Contract based in London. Please note this is a hybrid working model. Job Description - The Role As a Fund Operations Administrator, the primary focus of the role is to perform all duties with regard to ensuring all Unit Trust/OEIC deals either in Royal London funds or other funds are processed on a timely and accurate basis in line with the defined policy framework and valuation point dealing deadlines. The completion of the administration tasks around dealing, unit linked box management and controls required to maintain accurate unit/price information on all unitised funds within the management of RLAM. The administrator will take responsibility for oversight to various tasks undertaken in the role. What you'll do: Ensure that all queries on price/units and Daily, Weekly, Monthly, & Quarterly tasks within the team are completed with no errors, escalating issues to line manager where necessary. Swift resolution of trade related issues and understanding the fundamentals of the transaction cycle Accurate and timely entry of deals (EMX, Telephone & Fax) to various systems and with other parties Follow up on escalated issues and swift resolution of ad hoc trade issues Resolution of trade settlement issues Ensure activities are conducted in line with RLAM's risk appetite and procedures are followed with any exceptions/issues escalated to line manager Timely reporting on unitised funds to oversight committees Day to day activities performed in line with Tier 1 policies and department procedures The skills you'll need: Previous experience within an asset management company or similar industry Previous experience of Box Management and/or Unit Trust Dealing Understanding of trade life cycle and investment management processes Experience interacting with multiple departments and individuals Graduate (Maths, Finance, Economics or similar) MS Office Excel and Word to a high standard.
