OverviewAs a Speech and Language Specialist Jobs in Hanwell London youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others in the area. Youll work in various healthcare and social care settings across Hanwell as a Medicare People Speech and Language Specialist providing high-quality advanced support to individuals who require assistance due to factors such as age illness or disability.We have a number of Speech and Language Specialist shifts available across different settings in Hanwell London.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and diagnose speech language and communication difficulties as well as swallowing disorders.Develop and implement tailored therapy and treatment plans.Provide therapy on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.Support patients in developing communication strategies that promote independence and quality of life.Collaborate with families carers schools and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.Maintain accurate clinical records and produce professional reports.Educate and train carers teachers and other staff on communication and swallowing strategies.Stay up to date with best practices research and regulatory standards.RequirementsDegree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).Registration with HCPC (or relevant professional body).Experience in assessing and treating speech language and communication difficulties (paediatric and/or adult caseloads).Knowledge of a wide range of therapy approaches and interventions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Empathy patience and the ability to engage effectively with patients and families.Organisational and time management skills to handle varied caseloads.All necessary training certificates and documents that will be listed via email after applications are completed.What We OfferA supportive and multidisciplinary team environment.Opportunities for CPD and specialist training.Competitive salary and benefits package.A rewarding role with the chance to make a meaningful difference in peoples lives.About Medicare PeopleMedicare People is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to connecting passionate healthcare professionals with rewarding opportunities across the UK.
