We're looking for a dynamic Investment Acquisitions Surveyor to help expand and strengthen our portfolio. You'll thrive in a team where decisions and deals are made swiftly and competitively.


About the Role


As an Investment Acquisitions Surveyor at Sorbon Estates, you will:


  • Discover Opportunities: Identify investment properties and development sites, both on and off-market, leveraging your strong network of contacts.
  • Collaborate on Mixed-Use Sites: Work alongside our award-winning sister company, Shanly Homes, to explore mixed-use development opportunities.
  • Advise the Board: Present clear and concise recommendations to the Board, highlighting potential value additions.
  • Manage Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate Heads of Terms, coordinate with in-house and external solicitors, and ensure smooth property management transitions.
  • Oversee Documentation: Prepare Exchange Packs & Handover Packs, manage SDLT payments, and ensure all aspects of property management are covered at contract exchange.


About You


We're seeking someone who is:


  • Experienced: Proven track record in commercial acquisitions within an agency or property company.
  • Analytical: Skilled in financial appraisal and investment analysis.
  • Driven: A self-starter motivated by results.
  • Personable: Naturally builds effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Skilled Negotiator: Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Qualified: MRICS accredited or holds equivalent experience in commercial real estate (preferred).
