Development Chemist - Cosmetics - Northampton
A well-established small independent cosmetics manufacturer is looking for a Cosmetic Chemist to join the business. A perfect role for a Formulation Chemist who would like to run their own lab, is innovative and keen to develop their skills further. The successful Cosmetic Chemist will have the chance to go on learning and development courses relevant to the business needs to improve their skills. This is a versatile role that offers a great insight to various aspects of bringing a product to market. We are also considering entry level candidates with a cosmetic science degree for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and formulation of new products
- QC testing of current products
- In house stability testing and reporting
- Working with existing customers & new enquiries to improve and develop formulations
- Participating in effectively rolling out product development and upscaling to full production.
Requirements:
- Cosmetic Science degree or relevant subject or industry experience
- Understanding of Cosmetic compliance UK and EU regulation
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Organised and good documentation skills
- Full rights to work in the UK
