Based on using modern tools having local relationships and tailored expertise.Within the Distribution team sits the Specialist Relationship Managers (SRM) team who originate and manage all Healthcare Transactions (including Elderly Care Homes Specialist Care Homes and Childrens Day Nurseries) across the Bank.Role DescriptionReporting to the Senior Specialist Relationship Manager you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of remotely managed SME healthcare clients across the UK with a particular focus on elderly care specialist learning disability and childrens day nursery operators.In your role you will be the relationship contact point for these businesses ensuring high-quality in-life customer management supporting credit submissions and contributing to the seamless delivery of Allica Banks Healthcare lending proposition.First and foremost this is a relationship driven role and so we are seeking candidates comfortable engaging and building rapport with business owners passionate and curious to understand their business plans and ambitions and how Allica can support their aspirations.Principal AccountabilitiesManaging a portfolio of Healthcare SMEs across the UK alongside the Healthcare Team Specialist RMs helping them to make the most of the ever-growing Allica product offering including current accounts deposit products and lending solutions.Responsible for management of Allica Healthcare customers to include monitoring of covenant compliance monitoring of quarterly customer Management Information and providing feedback annual reviews review of Audited Accounts analysing cashflow forecasts and business plans.Working closely and collaboratively with all areas of Allica to ensure a seamless and professional service is always provided and facilitate best in class service for our customers.Transaction Debt levels will typically be in the range of 0.5m-20m.Meeting with customers and advisors in person and/or remotely.Opportunity to develop and lead on new lending credit submissions across all care products.Liaison with the Collections and Recoveries team in the event of a customer suffering financial stress and supporting any agreed workout activity.Complying with all mandatory policies and adherence to operational procedures to maintain internal controls.Personal Attributes & ExperienceYou will need to have a good understanding of SME banking and lending together with experience of other commercial asset classes.The ability to analyse accounts and management information to understand the underlying financial performance of the business against set covenants.You will be comfortable with tracking and managing key metrics within the team portfolio with appropriate escalation where required.The ability to work independently when supporting established SMEs with their requirements.You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Youll be able to evidence an ability to work expertly with customers colleagues and advisors to effectively manage the existing portfolio and provide exceptional customer outcomes.#LI-Remote #LI-AD1Working at Allica BankAt Allica Bank we want to ensure our employees have the right tools and environment in which to succeed in their role and in support of our customers.Our employees are at the heart of everything we do so our benefits are designed with you in mind:Full onboarding support and continued development opportunitiesOptions for flexible workingRegular social activitiesPension contributionsDiscretionary bonus schemePrivate health coverLife assuranceFamily friendly policies including enhanced Maternity & Paternity leaveDont tick every boxDont worry if you dont have all the skills or requirements listed on the job description.
