*From £75,000 negotiable dependent on experience
*Uncapped bonus based on % of net profit
*Realistic package of £90,000 OTE

The Role

As Head of Sales, you’ll take charge of our internal and external sales teams, implementing strategies to drive revenue and build strong customer relationships across England.

This dynamic role involves managing our internal business development team and five external sales reps, ensuring a cohesive, motivated, and high-achieving team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Harnessing industry and company data to develop and implement long-term sales strategies to grow the business throughout the UK.
  2. Communicate and align the sales strategy across the company levels.
  3. Lead sales teams to achieve revenue and profit margin targets.
  4. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, including buying groups.
  5. Ensure pricing and cost models are competitive and effective.
  6. Develop and oversee marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  7. Champion the customer experience, ensuring outstanding customer relationships.
  8. Recruit, manage, and develop sales teams, providing ongoing training and support.

The Ideal Candidate

You are personable, dynamic, and professional, with a proven track record in sales leadership and a passion for driving results. About you:

  1. Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams, ideally in the plumbing, heating, or distribution sectors.
  2. Strategic planning skills to implement growth-oriented sales strategies.
  3. Effective leadership and team management, fostering a positive team culture.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Competent IT and data analytic skills.
  6. Exceptional negotiation skills for closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
  7. High levels of self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work remotely.
  8. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
  9. A full UK driving license is required.
