What does this role involve?

You will act as a cross-functional technical manager, leading the engineering efforts and having responsibility for the line management of one (or more, dictated by size) product domains.

Youll evangelise the culture of Procode and strive to bring innovation and initiative to the role. You will be a be self-starter and have a CTO mindset for your product domain.

You will work with the Product Manager to resolve technical debt, modernise legacy applications and drive Procode towards cloud capable applications, services, APIs and software.

You will ensure that software is produced, tested, and documented according to Luxion and Procodes codes of practice, processes, and standards.

Youll be an agile evangelist, ensuring that the teams operate effectively in Scrum.

You will ensure that each of the teams in your product area are high-performing (or on track to be) and are acting within the relevant ceremonies for the process being followed.

Who are we looking for?

Your commercial experience working as an Engineering Lead, or similar within a product engineering environment, would be a great asset to this position.

Your passion for leading a high performing product team, will lay the foundations for success in this role.

Your proven leadership skills will enable you to provide your teams with the focus they need and the mentoring they require to deliver the best results.

Your strong communication skills will enable you to work closely with other areas of the organisation, such as Platform Engineering, Service Delivery and Security.

Your drive to deliver innovative, customer focussed and high-quality products will allow you to make a real difference in this role.

To be successful in this role you maybe required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.

This role will involve an on-call rota (24/7).
