A fantastic opportunity has arisen here at Hotel Xenia. We are currently looking to recruit a passionateMaintenance Assistant.

Position overview

As Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality daily maintenance services on a shift basis throughout all areas of the Hotel. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient operation of systems and equipment, maintaining the highest levels of customer service for both guests and colleagues. This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities, ranging from routine maintenance tasks to responding promptly to guest-related maintenance requests.

What we are looking for

  • Previous maintenance experience in hospitality industry desired.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work on a varied schedule, including weekends.
