Job Description:Job Type: Full-time On-siteSalary: DOEJob SummaryResponsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with quality standards and procedures for substrate preparation and coating applications including primer stripe coating intermediate coats and top or finish coats. The role involves recommending methods for quality improvement defect reduction and assisting in analyzing quality concerns.Reporting ToProject DirectorCoatings Operations Manager (Daily)Interfaces WithProject ManagerSupervisorsAdministratorsStoresClient RepresentativesHSEQ DirectorQuality ManagerSupervisory ResponsibilityMay supervise coating operatives during protective treatment works with authority to halt work if non-compliance is detected. Works closely with Coatings Paint Manager(s) and Supervisor(s).Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and monitor compliance with project specifications industry standards and internal instructions.Conduct inspections and tests per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).Record and verify ambient conditions suitability.Ensure materials are handled stored and used according to manufacturer requirements with traceability.Oversee painting/blasting personnel to ensure contract and equipment standards are met.Verify equipment calibration and personnel training.Confirm compliance of blast medium and coating materials with project specs.Monitor dry film thickness re-coating intervals and curing activities.Ensure proper identification marks/tags management.Prepare daily reports on work status/progress.Participate in internal and third-party audits.Liaise with client representatives for inspections and data outputs.Proactively address and prevent non-compliance during activities.AccountabilityReports to Contracts Manager daily; indirect reporting to Project Manager Project Director and HSEQ Director regarding quality. Compliance with ISO9001:2015 is essential.QualificationsMust hold NACE Level 3 or ICORR Level 3 certification.Extensive coatings industry experience especially marine coatings on large-scale projects.Thorough understanding of coating inspection responsibilities and quality control procedures.Job Type: Full-time Thorough knowledge of coating types, inspection techniques, and industry standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO) Ability to conduct visual inspections and perform tests such as dry and wet film thickness measurements, adhesion tests, and holiday detection Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications Familiarity with surface preparation techniques, abrasive blasting, and environmental condition monitoring (temperature, humidity) Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and inspection test plans Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment calibration Excellent documentation and report writing skills for recording inspections and non-conformance reports Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams, applicators, clients, and auditors Problem-solving to diagnose defects and recommend corrective actions Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in coating applications Ability to supervise coating personnel and enforce quality standards Experience with large-scale marine or industrial coatings projects is highly valued Certification at NACE Level 3 or ICORR Level 3 is requiredEducationCertification to NACE Level 3 or ICORR Level 3 in Protective Coating Inspection, which requires previous Level 2 certification and several years of relevant industry experience (generally around 3-5 years after Level 2) Extensive coatings industry experience, with particular emphasis on marine or large-scale industrial coatings projects Strong understanding of quality assurance, specification analysis, coating materials, application techniques, corrosion mechanisms, and inspection procedures Key Skills Direct Marketing,General Ledger Accounting,General Services,Equity Research,Leaflet Distribution,Affiliate Marketing Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
