Index Solutions Analyst

Were currently looking to hire an Index Solutions Analyst to join L&G Asset ManagementAs Index Solutions Analyst youll  be responsible for supporting day-to-day requests on L&G Asset Managements custom indices. The role involves working across various business channels and regionsWhat youll be doing:Updating and maintaining knowledge of LGIMs custom indices index holdings and key performance drivers for communication to client relationship managers distribution and clientsBeing the point of contact for technical and specific client queries leveraging specialists in the team if requiredCreating standard presentations and RFP content to support client specific queries and lead non-standard presentation and RFP production for new custom indicesWorking with the Marketing team (in conjunction with the investment and distribution teams) to develop marketing materials for index funds and servicesParticipating in Quantitative and Qualitative research leverage programming/database skills to investigate a diverse range of data sources. Be able to communicate complex analysis and sophisticated ideas to other team membersMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of the current investment market and economic issues from an index and benchmark perspectiveLiaising with the fund management teams to support the launch of the investment strategies with methodology documentation and fund reviewsAssisting in carrying out competitor analysis of markets and product offeringsQualifications : Who were looking for:Youll have knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate an index; Strong investment and financial market knowledgeProven knowledge of Python or demonstrable experience with another coding language including database languages like SQL.Previous experience of working within Investment Management or finance is preferable however we will also consider candidates with proven programming skills from other industriesA strong intellect with sufficient technical and investment knowledge to be able to win the confidence of stakeholders and various investment teamsOpen communication style persuasive and engagingHave previously constructed reviewed or evaluated index/systematic strategies and/or previous experience in evaluating benchmarks.Comfortable with large datasets and data exploration in diverse fields such as financial dataGreat team player ability to work independently and proactively to take ownership of tasks as well as part of a teamWhatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
