Your Team Responsibilities The MSCI Indexed Investments & Solutions team is part of OneMSCI coverage team with primary objective to provide clarity on the investable products (primarily ETFs & Passive Funds) linked to the MSCI Index ecosystem including insights on index construction methodologies along with detailed analysis on Global Markets. The team also develops, analyzes and commercialises macro related themes by helping clients to identify suitable MSCI linked products to express their views on a portfolio level but also better understand explicit and implicit dependencies. Further, the team is also responsible for the development of new investable strategies which are based on best practices and innovation. We deploy new data signals and analytical models for prototyping investable indexed strategies prior to production. Key Responsibilities Promote MSCI’s linked ETFs and grow ABF business Working with Wealth Managers, Private Banks and Asset Managers in the UK but also strategy ETF partners Relationship Management with Clients Prototyping Indexed Investment Strategies spanning across different areas (equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset Class and Real Assets) Previous experience in portfolio management, fund research, quantitative/QIS or strategy roles would be beneficial although not a pre-requisite Support the Index Sales team with market insights and use-cases (cross leverage the analysis conducted) Promote the OneMSCI agenda since the role requires a wide skillset across index, Analytics, products and portfolio implementation. Your Skills And Experience That Will Help You Excel The appropriate candidate will be asked to primarily work with Wealth Managers, Private Banks and Asset Managers in the UK with main focus on promoting MSCI’s IP and ultimately provide transparency on the indexes tracked by the corresponding ETFs. The candidate will be asked to interact with CIOs, Portfolio Managers, Fund Selectors, Portfolio Construction and Quant/Research & Strategy Teams while also be covering a wide spectrum of indexes across Equity and Fixed income (E.g. Sector, Factor, Emerging Markets, Sustainable indexes) but also multi-asset class indexed strategies. Part of the role would require a strong relationship management and part of the role would be focus on developing technical expertise around MSCI’s investment capabilities and innovation. On top, the successful candidate would need to build solid relationships with MSCI strategic ETF partners and work with the respective Sales and Strategy teams to jointly promote MSCI linked ETFs.
