DescriptionMake a Real Impact as a KS3 Maths and Science TutorAre you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students with SEN We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. Youll provide personalised 1:1 support in Maths and Science for Key Stage 3 students. These in-person sessions in Hackney offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.This job is in person in the Hackney area Hours: up to 9 hours per weekDay(s) and Time(s): Monday Thursday and Friday afternoons / During school hoursSubject and Level: KS3 Maths & ScienceRate of Pay: 35 p/hStart Date: As soon as possible What Youll Do:Deliver up to 5 hours of tutoring per week with sessions split across the school dayPlan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each studentProvide targeted support for studentsAssess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environmentMonitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomesMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition inRegularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes ManagerRequirementsWere looking for someone who has: A Bachelors degree 1 years of tutoring / teaching experience Experience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
