Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing chilled food businesses as National Account Manager is now available. Part of a wider European food group comprising of eight companies, the UK business produces high quality private label value added, meat & vegetarian snacking products. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry, recognized through several awards. They have a significant presence across grocery multiple retailers and some fantastic NPD in the pipeline. Following significant business growth and future plans, they are seeking a National Account Manager to join the team.

Role

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of top 6 grocery retail accounts and key strategic customer partnerships. You will also take responsibility for key retail & foodservice relationships. Working closely with internal & external product development teams, you will drive a portfolio of highly NPD driven chilled food products across the mentioned categories. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, working with a great degree of autonomy to drive the business as well as offering personal career development.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the retail multiples. You will be operating at either National Account or Senior National Account Manager level. Experience with private label food products is essential. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of our long-term plans and growth strategy.

Location

This is a fully home-based position with travel to head office retail customers.
